Evolving the digital brand

Avoiding the disconnect between pre and post login experience

The great thing about a native app is the ability to securely link a device to a customer profile. Lots of banks are now allowing customers to view balances and transactions before they login to a full bank session. The problem with this approach is it disconnects the experience for the customer, and requires you to build the same functionality twice.

For The Co-operative Bank, we decided to offer a single mobile banking view where you optionally see limited account info and services with the app in a “locked” state. Once you tap to view more, the four digit PIN is triggered and you are logged into a full session.

Putting the bling into sales

The Co-operative Bank’s gorgeous mobile calculators for loans and saving products are designed to be fun and interactive - as well as practical.

Customer sign-ups

Growing their customer base is a key focus for The Co-operative Bank. New customers can sign up for the bank in minutes using the app, with no need to visit a branch. Full compliance requirements such as identity verification are built into the process.
