Senior Experience Designer

AucklandFull-time

Do you crave challenges? Do briefs inspire you, instead of limit you? At Alphero we're on a quest to breathe fresh air into the world’s stale digital products and we’re looking for an inspired and creative Senior Designer to help us on our mission.

This is not your average design role, we’re looking for a bold digital thinker who’s willing to break the mould, trust their gut, and push the boundaries and expectations of what User Experience design really means.

This is where you come in! Ideally you’ll be a curious, seasoned, and intrepid digital product designer who is open to new ways of thinking (not bound by patterns and methods) and is willing to take risks to achieve better outcomes.

In this role, you will be a key part of a wonderfully dynamic and inventive design team, you’ll bring fun, a sense of humour, and loads of passion and energy to the role.

At Alphero, you’ll get to work directly with a rich variety of clients and on really compelling projects from major media streaming services to cutting edge health technology, energy, education, transport and the arts.

Our brand pillars run right through our business and guide us in everything we do. They are: Inventive, Emotive and Brave. You will be aligned with and inspired by these and will bring these to life within our team and in the experiences you imagine for our clients.

Areas of focus

    • Craft Groundbreaking Digital Experiences - You'll be instrumental in the hands on design and conceptualisation of innovative digital experiences across various experiences, industries, services, and products. Every project will be a chance to tackle fresh challenges, directly impacting user success and leave a lasting and positive mark on everything we create. This is a role where your originality and creativity will make a real difference through the crafting of experiences that will actually be remembered.
    • Shape the Digital Landscape - You'll be part of the driving force behind the impactful user experiences we're renowned for. Witness your ideas come to life, directly impacting user success and leaving a lasting and influential mark on everything we build. Every project is an opportunity to impress and make a real difference.
    • Become a Design Specialist - Own your passion and expertise within a specific area of the design practice. Become the go-to person for questions in your domain, leveraging your knowledge to grow, lead, and influence our design team and practice. This is your opportunity to truly own a piece of the design puzzle and grow as a designer.
