Sergey has more than 14 years experience as a software engineer - originally working as a backend dev before cross-skilling into mobile. He’s super interested in the finance sector, and has even spent time exploring his own app concept that helps people build a portfolio of publicly listed stocks. Lately, however, his focus has been settling himself and his family into Aotearoa. Moving from Moscow is a pretty major life change, but Sergey is nothing but positive. “The people here are so kind, peaceful and open minded. I can't help but smile!” he says.
